Tickets (main venue)

Ticket types and prices

1-Day Ticket

Valid for the main venue on the day of purchase/visit only (re-enter possible)

Festival Pass

Valid for an unlimited number of visits to the main venue throughout the festival period.[The Festival Pass comes with a passport holder with strap.]

Upgrades

A 1-Day Ticket may be changed into a Festival Pass at any time during the festival period for an extra fee (see below) at the counter of the main venue.[If you wish to upgrade, please present your 1-Day Ticket.]

Performances at the Large Hall

  • For some performances at the Large Hall, advance reservation will be required.

When visiting the main venue

  • Please understand that the number of admitted visitors may be limited for your safety when viewing the displays.
  • Please be aware that there is no elevator.
  • You may use parking spaces for baby strollers or a nursing room.
  • Please note that there are no lockers or other places to leave your luggage.
  • We recommend using public transport, as there is no general parking space available at the venue.
  • If you wish to use one of the priority parking spaces, please contact the Secretariat of the Saitama Triennale Executive Committee beforehand by phone:
    TEL 048-767-5411 (9:00-17:00 on Tue-Sat, during the festival period also on Sun)
  • Please understand that you may be asked to cooperate on measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. If you have a fever or are otherwise unwell, please reconsider your visiting plans.

Visitors with wheelchairs

  • The staff will provide the best possible assistance, however please understand that some areas in the facility are not barrier-free due to the building’s design.
  • Please be aware that there is no general elevator at the main venue. If you wish to visit with a wheelchair, please contact the Secretariat of the Saitama Triennale Executive Committee beforehand by phone:

Ticket information

  • The Festival Pass is issued along with a special gift at the entrance of the main venue at the time of visit.
  • Admission is free for high school students and below. Please present your student ID at the entrance of the main venue.
  • Admission is free for persons with disability certificate plus one accompanying person. Please present your disability certificate at the entrance of the main venue.
  • “Saitama Citizen” tickets are available for persons who live, work or attend a school in Saitama City. Please present any document that identifies you as a resident, employee or student in Saitama City.
  • 1-Day Tickets and Festival Passes are valid for the main venue (Former Omiya Civic Hall) only. Please note that there may be additional fees for events at other venues.
  • Tickets may not be refunded or reissued.
  • Ticket prices include admission for programs at the main venue’s Large Hall. However, advance reservation will be required for the performances by Terry RILEY, KURATA Midori,MURAKAWA Takuya, Fashion Show and Jim O’ROURKE.

Methods and Places of Purchase

Tickets may be purchased by either one of the following methods:

A. Online

Tickets available October 7 (Sat) – December 10 (Sun), 2023

  • Member registration (free of charge) is required for online ticket purchases
  • In addition to Member registration, Saitama Citizen Member registration (free of charge via the same website) is required for the purchase of discounted tickets for Saitama Citizens.

Payment and Issuance of Tickets

Online payment (credit card only)

  • Tickets issued at the main venue counter on the day of visit [Please present the email notification that is sent to you after payment is completed.]
  • Tickets issued at convenience stores (FamilyMart, 7-Eleven) [There will be an additional handling fee for tickets issued at a convenience store.]
    [Convenience stores will not issue actual tickets but vouchers that need to be redeemed for tickets at the time of visit.]

  • Convenience stores will issue vouchers that need to be redeemed for tickets for the main venue at the time of visit. [There will be an additional handling fee.] [For payment methods, please refer to the respective convenience store’s accepted methods.]

Collection and use of personal information for ticketing purposes

(1) For purchasing tickets online, you will be required to provide the following personal information according to the system of the Saitama City Cultural Promotion Foundation, International Arts Festival Promotion Division.

  • Phone or mobile number
  • Postal address
  • Date of birth

【Optional information】

  • Sex
  • Credit card information (card number, expiration date, name on card, security code)

(2) In the process of ticketing/reservation, customers’ personal information will be collected for purposes such as sending notification emails, etc.

(3) Personal information is collected by the Saitama Triennale Executive Committee, but administered by the affiliated Saitama City Cultural Promotion Foundation, International Arts Festival Promotion Division, for operational reasons. Therefore, all information will be administered according to the Privacy Policy of the Saitama City Cultural Promotion Foundation, International Arts Festival Promotion Division.

(4) Regarding ticketing matters, the Saitama Triennale Executive Committee has concluded a written agreement with the Saitama City Cultural Promotion Foundation, International Arts Festival Promotion Division, including rules regarding the appropriate and confidential use of personal information, and other measures to supervise the proper handling of information.
