さいたまアート・ハブズ計画

We will report and disseminate information from a citizen’s perspective on the “美術と街巡り・浦和” (*1)in which artists associated with Saitama City will hold exhibitions in various locations in Urawa and Sakura wards.

We will seek to create an art hub (information hub) by continuously accumulating information and encouraging viewers to want to see the artworks.

About “創発 in さいたま”

There are many artists living in Saitama City who are active in Tokyo.

They have also exhibited their works at local galleries and museums while studying with artists who live nearby.

By encouraging collaboration between such activities and people engaged in civic activities, this project hopes to bring about new “創発” (*2) in local culture.

*2 創発: The emergence of characteristics that are not simply the sum of the characteristics of the parts, but emerge as a whole.
